More than seven hours: this is the expectation to which some people would have been forced in the afternoon of yesterday in the emergency room of the hospital of Lamezia Terme. Among them was also a girl who was involved in a collision that accused pains and from 14 waited until the evening to be subjected to medical checks. Along with her, classified as a white code "just by looking at her through a glass at acceptance," said a relative, even an elderly woman in a row for seven hours. To denounce the situation at the bend was the aunt of a ten-year-old child who went to the emergency room for a suspected fracture to an arm. "We do not accuse anyone-said the woman-only that we believe that we can no longer remain silent in the face of what happens. Enough with this omerta that led us to undergo daily without obtaining anything. We realize that the health workers put it all to give answers to the users, but it is not possible that in 2018 we live these situations. It is not right for those who go to the hospital to receive treatment, nor for health professionals who are faced with almost daily emergencies like this without anyone who is able to find solutions.
